A new tread design with an asymmetrical tread pattern for the rear tire leads to improved traction and - together with a lower tread ratio - an increased area of use
CASTLE BLOCK TECHNOLOGY ™
The implementation of Castle Block Technology ™ on the axle blocks on the front deck and all blocks on the rear deck provides an extra edge effect. This gives higher cornering ability and traction in different types of terrain.
BUNKER GROOVE
After redesigning the bunker's tracks, we were able to increase the contact area, improve the bite feeling and increase the grip and traction. The new bunker groove also lowers the tread stiffness for optimal stability.
COOLING FLANCES
The addition of cooling fins creates an air flow through the projecting parts of the side wall. Due to this, the X31 gets an improved cooling effect of the tire surface, less tire degradation and a consistent performance throughout the life of the tire.
